1950 Antique, Original Chrylser Imperial

Price reduced!!! An original, unrestored car with the expected patina for a 74 year old car. Drives well. Has the Chrysler 4 speed auto transmission with safety clutch behind a 323 CI straight eight cylinder engine which runs amazingly smooth. The steering is very tight and it rides very smooth. Power windows and power brakes, standard steering. No cracks in steering wheel which is amazing! Still has original horse hair carpeting throughout but in poor condition in drivers footwell. Inspected. The tires are in good condition but are 15 years old and should be replaced before long. All the glass and chrome is original. Rear package tray and top of rear armrest have a cover due to the original fabric being deteriorated due to sitting in one place at last owner location. I am the third owner and have owned the car since 2007. It won the judges choice award at the 2009 VAE Car show. Car draws lots of attention everywhere and especially people at car shows. This is a large car with a 130" wheelbase and well over 4000 pounds. It was also the featured car as the Driveable Dream in the November 2009 issue of Hemmings Classic Car magazine and was an invited car to Hemmings Concours D'Elegance in 2008. This car still has the original factory quality control inspection stamps. Won "Best Original Car" at June 16, 2024 Shriners car show in Rutland, VT. NO RATTLES OR SQUEEKS!!! This car was also one of the featured cars in Richard Lentinello's book "They are original only once".
